”I have come into this world as A Witness to Truth; this is why I was born. Anyone who has a need to know truth will turn to my words and hear them” John 18: 37

Jesus spoke these words about two thousand years ago. At that time, thousands of people went out to hear Him and many received truth and understanding through his words. Much of what He said was written down and preserved for us today, and His Spirit is still alive in His Words.

Why is it that people turn to one another for answers instead of going directly to the words of Jesus when they are searching for truth and understanding?

Just take a look around you, look at all the different religious organizations and denominations there are. They exist because people either do not know, or they do not believe they can go straight to the Word of God, ask Him, and receive truth and understanding directly from Him.

If you have a need to understand the things of the spiritual realm, the things beyond what our physical eyes are able to see, more pure than the things our hands of flesh can touch, and greater than the things our mortal ears could ever hear; I challenge you to investigate for yourself by going directly to the words of Jesus and asking God for understanding. Jesus said, “If you dwell in my Word, you will become my disciples. You will learn the truth, and the truth will set you free.” John 8: 31-32
